I was raised in a proud Italian-American family and from a young age I had the desire to learn Italian and see Italy for myself. I was able to fulfil that dream in college when I studied Italian and took the opportunity to work as a nanny for a summer in Italy.

Dream come true.

I had a few more opportunities to live in or visit different regions in Italy after that and when my husband and I were married, I knew he had to experience Italy, too.

We saved up and took our first trip to Italy together.

Our first stop was Rome: a metro to the Colosseum, and two gelatos—just as we had dreamed it.

We became parents to two amazing kids and we couldn’t wait to take them both with us to Italy some day.

A flight, a metro ride, and four gelatos later, our little family was able to make that dream come true. All four of us now have a deep love for Italy.

We began sharing our travel experiences with family and friends, helping them craft their dream vacations.

After years of talking about building this into a business, Gelato Dreams Travel was finally born.
